The forth story of the anthology short story series “A song from the laundry room” is titled “Ode to Autumn”.
This story started from the words of my doctor when I tried to do nothing. His words brought me to the small space at the top of a narrow tower.
Actually, I did nothing. No, I just couldn't do anything. While I did nothing, I just stayed home, had meals like a monk, and saw the doctor once a week.
'You have to go somewhere. You have to go somewhere, to get inspirations or just to travel. You can't stay at home for too long. You are the kind of person who have to keep creating something, making something to keep your mind positive,' my doctor said.
On the first Sunday of September 2019, I was in a small space at the top of a narrow tower. My breath was shallow and my heart was beating hard. I was comforting myself by listening to the sound of my camera until the lift came to pick me up.
短編アンソロジーのシリーズ「A song from the laundry room」四作目のストーリーのタイトルは「Ode to Autumn」です。

A song from the laundry room
“A song from the laundry room” is my latest anthology short story series which seems it doesn’t make any sense for someone else. However, I personally have it as a small treasure of my life.
The title of the series “A song from the laundry room” is named after the sentence from Brazilian author Clarice Lispector’s novel.
